Mallika and Shaan have been a part of each other’s lives for as long as they can remember, thanks to their families being best friends. Growing up they met at parties, their families went on vacations together, they even spent their summers visiting grandparents in the same city: Mumbai! Their relationship really evolved when Mallika made her way back to Plano during the pandemic.

 

While they traveled all over, one place stood out amongst the rest: Colorado. The mountains became their favorite escape during the summers and winters. And it was during one of those snowy ski trips that they made plans to go on their first date! (Fun fact: Their first date coincided with Keya's birthday. Shaan brought Keya a new squeaky toy to make up for Mallika’s absence.) Fast forward a couple of years, and Mallika and Shaan found themselves back in those beautiful mountains, this time ready to take the next step in their relationship!

 

This special occasion would not be possible without the blessings of all the amazing families and friends that have nurtured and shaped them. They are so grateful to everyone for being a part of their journey and can’t wait to celebrate with you all in November!
